How we communicate value has changed

The age of the internet seems too vast to say anything about, but what the internet has told me, is we have forever changed how we communicate value to each other.
I wonder about the start of "civilization" and what we used to communicate our opportunities, threats, strengths, weaknesses, value, emotions, the list goes on. What started as symbols or a few characters, perhaps simplified to paintings to communicate these things, to I'm writing a blog post that, theoretically, could be read by anyone in the world within seconds. What a great power that we didn't know the responsibility end of the deal.
How we communicate what we value is deeply and intimately human.
How do we become stewards of the time we dedicate towards sharing a message when we face a relentless sea of skepticism and deliberate misunderstandings? That's where I come in.
I was told while I was on a job that I should become a "good FBI agent that gets people to talk." I understand the sentiment behind this movie-style job. By my existence, I carry approachability that people gravitate towards because it's a sense of safety when people tell me their un-edited thoughts. My skilled craft of question asking reveals what currents live within us and I extract stories that will be remembered because it's backed by what we feel.
I am skilled at finding roots, just like a miraculous oak, that allows for the authentic story to shine. I find the beauty of everyone's story in communicating what they value. That divine moment in time is reciprocity for the art I share with the world.
Sometimes, I have blinders up towards "likes" and "views." Metrics that mean nothing to me if the story didn't resonate with someone. How I receive communication with what is valued isn't behind a social-media account. It's with the genuine connection I create with the depths of my spirit that electrifies when I hear my heart say "this is it."
At the time of this blog post, I have a what I call a residency with the Ypsilanti Food Co-Op. A neighborhood grocery story that chooses to communicate what they value to the public via various social media accounts, newsletters, and in-person events. With my presence and attention on a couple pockets of their communication, I've been able to witness the human-life impact the Ypsilanti Food Co-Op has. Around 72% of people prefer learning about a good or service through video. By working With Cybbi, I've developed a deep understanding of the customer, I build rapport with personal touches to various stakeholders, I leverage unique selling propositions (for example: membership sales), I produce assets for a digital presence that is relatable, I focus on trust and long-term partnerships rather than single transactions and I am agile with tenacity to adapt to changes in a persistently-changing environment. With a few months engaging with the Co-Op, we've seen an increase of overall sales, increase of memberships, increase of event attendance, and increase of traffic on our digital spaces.
I've written my business model numerous times, I've edited this website and my Instagram bio more times than I can count, which has led to confusion. When I communicate what I value and execute on action items that reflect those values, the haze is lifted. Alignment of my strengths is undeniable.
I am a multidimensional journalist.
